The application of foam concrete in floor heating cushion is discussed
At present, all the floor heating insulation layers in developed countries are made of foamed concrete. In China, the application rate of the floor heating insulation layers of foamed concrete has reached more than 30%.According to the development momentum, it will replace polystyrene foam 100%.Compared with styrofoam, foamed concrete has the following advantages and competitiveness:
1. High heat resistance.The weakness of polystyrene foam is its low heat resistance temperature, which begins to decompose at 74℃. When the temperature continues to rise, it will melt and shrink.However, the temperature of the floor heating hot water pipeline is not constant, sometimes exceeding 74℃, which will cause the thermal decomposition of polystyrene foam and thermal insulation failure.And foam concrete because of cement inorganic material, heat resistance can reach more than 500℃, there is no thermal decomposition, so the service life is longer, will not cause thermal insulation failure.
2. green environmental protection, non-toxic harmless.Foamed concrete does not contain any toxic ingredients, foaming agents and various additives are not volatile harmful substances, which is beneficial to indoor environment.However, polystyrene foam will release styrene toxic gas due to thermal decomposition.Therefore, using foamed concrete is more environmentally friendly than using styrofoam.
3. Better strength than polystyrene foam.The compressive strength of polystyrene foamed plastic, only 0.02 ~ 0.03MPa, and 200 ~ 300 nanostructural structural strength of foamed concrete is 0.6 ~ 0.8 MPa, the compressive performance is better.
4. Fast construction speed.Foam concrete can be poured flat, do not need to lay one by one, its construction speed than polystyrene foam plastic board 1/3.
5. No joints, reducing the heat loss caused by joints.And polystyrene foam plastic board is laid one by one, with many joints, easy to form a cold bridge or hot bridge.
